Facilities in which H&I operate
If you are willing to do service for H&I within treatment centres you must have a minimum of one year clean time to have your name added to our service list, this can be done by contacting a member of the H&I sub-committee. If you wish to do service within the Prisons you must have security clearance. To obtain this you must contact the H&I committee and we will then discuss the procedure with you in person or on the phone. We are not given reasons why members are denied. If you receive clearance, it is expected that you will make yourself available to do chairs and stand in on occasion. Details on applying for clearance in prisons is available on the “prison service guidelines” and F.A.Q’s tab at the top of the home page. Before you take a service position with H&I you should consider carefully: Will I have time to commit to a twelve week service commitment?
DETOX CENTERS
Saint Michaels Ward Beaumont Hospital: Monday 7pm, Wednesday, 7pm & Saturday 11am.This is also a mixed gender facility and is facilitated by male and female secretaries.
Cuan Dara Cherry Orchard: 7pm every evening except Saturday.This facility is mixed gender and is facilitated by male and female secretaries.
TREATMENT CENTERS
Enfield Treatment Centre: Wednesday 7pm & Saturday 2pm.This is a male only facility and is facilitated by male and female secretaries.
Sister Consillios, Athy (Kildare): Saturday 2pm.This is a male only facility and is facilitated by male and female secretaries.
Ashleigh House: Tuesday 7pm.This is an all female facility and is facilitated by female secretaries and male and female speakers.
Tullow Farm: last Friday of every month at 7pmThis is a male only facility and is facilitated by male secretaries and male and female speakers.
Coolmine Lodge: Monday 6pm.
PRISONS
Mountjoy Prison (NCR): Wednesday 6pm.This is a male only facility and is facilitated by male secretaries and male and female speakers.
Saint Patrick's Institution (NCR):There is no meeting at present, the first H&I prison meeting was held in this facility in March 1982
Medical Unit: Saturday 11am: This is a male only facility and is facilitated by male secretaries and male and female speakers.
The Training Unit: Tuesday 7pm.This is a male only facility and is facilitated by male secretaries and male and female speakers.
Cloverhill Remand Centre, Clondalkin, Sunday 6pm: This meeting is a male only facility and is facilitated by male secretaries with male and female speakers.
Wheatfield Prison Clondalkin:: There is no meeting at present.
Dochas Centre sunday 6pm: There is no meeting at present.
